Hulhumalé is a reclaimed island town near Malé in the Maldives. It acts as a gateway for visitors, with quick access to Malé and easy transfers to resort and house reef dives around the atolls. The area itself isn’t a primary diving site, but the Maldives offer world-class snorkeling and a wide range of dive centers concentrated in Malé and at nearby resorts. With four centers in the broader atoll region, divers typically use Hulhumalé as a transport hub or base for day trips to house reefs, drift dives, and manta or manta-ray opportunities on atolls in the Indian Ocean.
