Lankan Caves is a shallow reef site in the Malé region known for hang­ing cavern-like caverns and swim-throughs formed by natural limestone and coral structures. The site typically offers calm conditions with clear tropical water, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers exploring sheltered ledges, small overhangs, and networked crevices. Expect a mix of hard corals and soft corals, with reef fish such as parrotfish, fusiliers, angelfish, damselfish and occasionally moray eels.
