The Wife

The Wife is a shallow reef dive near Roatán, commonly explored by local divers as a straightforward introduction to Caribbean reef life. The site sits within easy reach from Roatán, typically accessed in calm conditions from a gentle entry point. Expect clear turquoise water, moderate currents on certain tides, and a varied assemblage of Caribbean species such as reef fish, parrotfish, and occasional passing pelagics. Topography features a gentle sloping reef with coral heads and some small swim-throughs, making it suitable for beginners and divers building buoyancy and navigation skills.
