Roatán

West End Wall

West End Wall is a shallow reef dive off the West End of Roatán, Honduras. The site features a vertical wall dropping from the edge of a sandy bottom into clear Caribbean blue water, with a gently sloping approach and easy entry from the rocky shore. Expect strong, clear visibility and a mix of hard corals, sponges and typical Western Caribbean reef inhabitants. Common species include snappers, parrotfishes, and moray eels, with chances to see tunas and reef sharks on deeper sections depending on currents. The site suits beginners on calm days, while more experienced divers can explore the wall’s ledges and overhangs at modest depths. Access is convenient from Roatán’s West End, making it a popular local dive after short boat rides or shore entries.
