Half Moon Wall

Half Moon Wall is a coastal wall dive near Roatán, in the western Caribbean. The site features a steep drop-off with a rocky to sandy bottom, providing varied topography and opportunities to explore crevices and overhangs. Entry is typically from the shore or a small boat, with conditions that are commonly calm in good weather and can produce modest currents along the wall. Expect a mix of typical Caribbean reef life, including damselfish, angelfish, parrotfish, and groupers, with sponges and soft corals adding color along the vertical face. Visibility is generally good, and deeper sections offer a sense of depth and shelter for macro subjects. The site is accessible for divers with basic to intermediate experience and is commonly used for wall-dive practice and drift potential when conditions permit.
