Maldives Victory (Wreck)

Maldives Victory is a wreck dive site located off Malé, in the central atolls of the Maldives. The wreck, a former merchant vessel, lies in relatively shallow water and is commonly explored by recreational divers. Expect a submerged wreck with intact structural elements, mid-water and seabed surrounds, and opportunities to observe reef fish, snapper, and small pelagics typical of atoll environments. Access is via boat to a sheltered site with calm conditions on good weather days; currents are typically mild to moderate depending on tides. The site is suitable for trained recreational divers with appropriate buoyancy and wreck awareness, and it can be combined with nearby bommies and coral gardens for a broader underwater experience.
