Dolphin Den

Dolphin Den is a shallow, sandy-to-rocky site off Roatán, renowned for its calm conditions and easy access. The site lies in clear tropical waters with moderate visibility typical of Caribbean reef systems. Divers often encounter a mix of small reef fish, arrow crabs, spiny lobsters, and schooling grunts along gentle drop-offs and sandy patches. Entry is straightforward from a boat or shore, with a shallow topography that makes it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. The nearby putting greens and seagrass beds support a variety of juvenile life and occasional reef inhabitants. The site is often used for training dives and short exploratory dives when currents are light, and is typically dived at depths around the shallow to mid-teens range.
