Dennis’ Dropoff

Dennis’ Dropoff is a local Roatán dive site offering a gentle drift along a wall and sandy inclines. Located near the island’s southern coast, it features a sloping wall with gradual depth changes and soft coral growth typical of Roatán’s Caribbean waters. Visibility is usually good in calm conditions, and currents can be light to moderate, making it a suitable choice for experienced beginners with supervision and for more confident divers seeking a relaxed drift. Common Caribbean reef fish, such as grunts, angelfish, parrotfish, and snappers, populate the area along with sponges and soft corals.
