Arch Bank

Arch Bank is a coastal dive site located near José Santos Guardiola and Roatán. It typically features a gentle slope with underlying rubble and patches of sand transitioning to small coral formations, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. Depths are generally shallow, with a slow descent along the edge of the bank and occasional drop-offs beyond 10 meters. The site supports easy current conditions and clear water when conditions are calm. Common reef life in the area includes small reef fish, blennies, tangs, and occasional moray eels, with broader Caribbean species typical to shallow Caribbean reefs nearby. Access is straightforward from local shore facilities, and the site is often visited in conjunction with nearby reefs for a relaxed half- to full-day dive plan.
