Saint Paul's Bay

Saint Paul’s Bay is a popular Malta diving base on the Mediterranean coast, with many dives focused on rocky reefs, sheltered inlets, and coastal walls. Most local diving runs from shore and short boat trips, so conditions can vary by site and season, but visibility is often good and water temperatures are generally mild compared with colder European destinations. Expect typical Mediterranean species such as reef fish, octopus, and octopus/bivalve life around ledges and crevices. As with many Maltese spots, local topography matters a lot: some areas are more sheltered while others are better when conditions suit the exposure of the dive site.
