Ta Cenc

Ta Cenc is a coastal dive site on the southeast coast of Gozo. Access is straightforward from local towns such as Sannat, Mgarr, and Qala, all within a short drive. The site typically features a rocky reef and a gentle sloping seabed with nearby ledges that attract a variety of Mediterranean reef inhabitants. Expect clear to moderate visibility in good weather, with water temperatures in the warm Mediterranean range. Common species include groupers, wrasses, damselfish, moray eels, and octopus, with posidonia meadows in the vicinity providing habitat for smaller life. The site is suitable for recreational divers and can be explored at shallow to moderate depths, depending on conditions and experience level. Entry is usually from a simple shore setup or a small beach zone, with a relaxed drift possible along the coast in favorable currents.
