Saint Lawrence

Saint Lawrence (Il-Ħaġar/“San Lawrenz”) is a village in Gozo (Reġjun Għawdex), Malta, used mainly as a base for diving in Gozo’s Mediterranean Sea areas. Most scuba activity here is tied to nearby coastal sites around Gozo and the smaller islets, with typical conditions of clear salt water when the weather cooperates and visibility that can vary by season. Expect a mix of reef and rock formations, underwater caverns/fields, and wall-like drop-offs depending on the specific site. Since this is not a big resort strip, you’ll usually organize dives through Gozo-based operators rather than from the village center itself.
