Zack’s Patch

Zack’s Patch is a shallow reef site around a small patch of healthy coral and sponges off the Caribbean coast near Roatán. The typical depth ranges from the upper 10s to mid-20s meters, with easy entries from a sandy bottom and gentle slope. Expect a mix of hard and soft corals, reef fish such as parrotfish, angelfish, and snappers, plus occasional small critters in crevices. The site is suitable for beginners and for relaxed recreational dives, with good visibility on calm days and mild current potential on the outer edge. Access is straightforward from nearby dive operators, and the site sits close to Roatán, making it a convenient, short transfer from town.
