Triple D

Triple D is a coastal reef site near Roatán, commonly approached from shore or a short boat ride. The site features a shallow, sheltered area with typical Caribbean reef topography: gentle slope, patches of live coral, and scattered rocks providing structure for small fish and invertebrates. Conditions are usually calm with moderate visibility, making it a suitable option for beginners and for practice between larger dives. Expect reef species such as snappers, parrotfishes, damselfish, and assorted reef invertebrates; larger pelagic encounters are possible but not guaranteed. Access is straightforward from Roatán, and local dive operators frequently include Triple D as a relaxed, easy dive within a day’s schedule.
