The Bight

The Bight is a local reef dive site near Roatán, Honduras. It features a shallow, gently sloping coral garden with patches of hard corals and vibrant tropical fish. Access is straightforward from shore with calm conditions typical of Caribbean lagoons. Expect clear water, mild currents, and a relaxed profile suitable for entry-level to intermediate divers. Common reef inhabitants include parrotfish, angelfish, wrasse, and damselfish, with occasional rays or small pelagics in the upper water column. The site is well-suited for training dives, drift experiences when conditions allow, and general exploration along the reef edge.
