Saayas

Saayas is a shallow reef dive site near Roatán, situated in the Caribbean off Honduras. The site lies close to the island’s fringing reef system, offering a mellow introduction to reef diving with easy entry from shore or a short boat ride. Expect clear tropical water, gentle currents, and good visibility typical of Roatán’s inner reef zones. The reef supports a mix of hard coral heads and macro life, with common Caribbean species such as parrotfish, surgeonfish, angelfish, hawksbill and green sea turtles occasionally seen on calmer days. The site is well-suited for beginner to intermediate divers, and is often used for easy training dives or short shallow breaks between deeper sites in Roatán’s busy dive season.
