Ras Za`atar

Ras Za'atar is a shallow-to-mid-depth reef site off Sharm El Sheikh, backed by a sloping drop and sandy patches. The reef showcases typical Red Sea reef fauna with colorful corals, damselfish, and parrotfish, along with occasional moray eels and small pelagics. Access is straightforward from the coast with a relaxed drift or wall segments depending on conditions. Depths typically range from a few meters at the crest down to mid-teens, making it suitable for recreational divers and training dives when currents permit. The site is commonly visited from Sharm El Sheikh, within reach for day trips.
