Lankan Faru

Lankan Faru is a tropical reef site in the Maldives, offering shallow to moderate depths with clear blue water and vibrant marine life typical of the atolls. Access from Malé or Thulusdhoo is straightforward, with most dives starting from a drift-friendly reef edge or sheltered channel. Expect healthy hard corals, schooling reef fish, snappers, and occasional turtles. The site is suitable for advanced open water or advanced nitrox courses depending on current conditions. Entry is via boat and surface intervals can be spent on nearby sand flats or lagoons. Conditions are generally calm, with visibility commonly ranging from 15 to 30 meters when seas are favorable.
