Lankan Beyru

Lankan Beyru is a shallow, sheltered reef site near the Malé area in the Maldives. The area features a sandy bottom with patchy coral growth and a gentle slope, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. Expect clear turquoise water and calm conditions on most days, with typical tropical reef life such as damselfish, parrotfish, clownfish, and occasional stingrays or reef sharks in larger schools further off the edge. Access is straightforward from nearby Malé-based operators, and the site is commonly visited as part of local house reef itineraries. Depths are modest, usually staying within recreational limits, with easier entries from shallow reefs and a gentle drift in favorable currents.
