Four Sponges

The site features a patchy coral garden and multiple sponge colonies, including several large yellow and brown sponges that give the area its name. Access is straightforward from the beach; entry is usually from a gentle shore entry with a short surface swim to the reef. Expect a calm dive with a relaxed profile around the 6–18 meter range, suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. Common Caribbean reef life may include hamlets of small fish, angelfish, parrotfish, grunts, lobster, and occasional reef sharks in the area; currents are typically mild but can vary with tides.
