Embudu Corner

Embudu Corner is a drift dive off the southeast tip of Malé Atoll, Maldives. The site features a sloping reef edge with healthy corals and a mix of soft and hard corals, and a gentle current that makes for an easy drift along the reef wall. Depths typically range from shallow to around 20 meters, with the wall dropping off into deeper blue. Expect a variety of reef fish, occasional schooling pelagics, and macro critters in the crevices. Access is usually via the nearby dive centers based on Malé and nearby resort hubs; divers should be comfortable with drift diving and follow local briefing and safety guidelines. Visibility can vary with currents and plankton, but is often good for coral-dominated habitats.
