Xlendi Bay

Xlendi Bay is a shallow coastal site on the west coast of Gozo, Malta. It features a sandy to rocky seabed with gentle slope transitions and several weed-covered patches. The area is commonly used by local divers for training and easy recreational dives, especially in calm conditions. Expect clear Mediterranean water, mild currents at times, and marine life typical of Maltese bays such as groupers, damselfish, wrasse, and octopus around rocky outcrops and seagrass beds. Access is straightforward from nearby towns, and the calmer mornings usually provide good visibility for entry via beach or small shore accesses.
