Moc Che Shallow

Moc Che Shallow is a local shallow dive site near Playa del Carmen, typically used for beginner training and easy-refresh dives. Situated in the shallow coastal area, the site features gentle slopes and sandy patches with occasional patches of seagrass. Visibility is generally fair in calm conditions, and water temperatures vary seasonally around tropical Caribbean norms. Divers will commonly encounter small tropical reef fish, snappers and grunts along with parking nearby and easy entry from shore or a short surface swim. It’s a convenient site for practicing buoyancy and basic skills close to town, with typical Southeast Mexican coastal diving conditions and a relaxed underwater environment.
