Lighthouse Pinnacle

Lighthouse Pinnacle is a shallow to mid-depth reef site around a prominent pinnacle near Ko Tao. Access is straightforward from the coast, and the topography features a knobby coral head rising from the sand with surrounding seafloor shelving away to deeper water. Typical conditions are clear tropical water with good visibility and steady currents that can deliver pelagic activity on the verge of the reef. Expect a mix of hard corals, schooling fish, and common reef inhabitants such as parrotfish, angelfish, and wrasse, with chances of encountering larger species near the pinnacle depending on conditions. The site is suitable for experienced beginners under calm conditions and is a good choice for training dives to practice buoyancy and navigation around a prominent feature.
