Les Pharillons

Les Pharillons is a local Mediterranean dive site near Marseille, accessed from the coastal towns of Marseille and Cassis. The site features a sloping rocky seabed with scattered blocks and small caves, typically ranging from about 6 to 18 meters deep. Entry is straightforward from a boat or the shore at calm conditions. Expect clear water with typical Western Mediterranean life: groupers, wrasses, octopus, moray eels, and schools of damselfish around rocky outcrops, with posidonia meadows nearby. The site is suitable for recreational divers and for practice at shallow depths, with a relaxed drift possible along the slope in favorable currents. This is a local, easy-access site often used for short trips from the two nearby towns.
