Baou Rouge

Baou Rouge is a local dive site near Cassis, France, in the Mediterranean. The site is typically approached from the coast and offers a straightforward entry to a sloping sandy bottom with rocky outcrops. Depths at this site are usually shallow to moderate, making it accessible for recreational divers and those building buoyancy control. The area features typical Western Mediterranean life such as groupers, octopus, moray eels, and various schooling fish among rocky pavements and patches of Posidonia beds. Conditions can vary with surface conditions, but calm days provide good visibility and gentle currents.
