Le Grand Congloué

Le Grand Congloué is a popular Mediterranean dive site off Cassis, characterized by shallow to mid-depth reefs and rocky outcrops. The site's underwater topography features a series of reefs fringed by spawning grounds and small ledges that host a range of Mediterranean life. Access is straightforward from the coast, with protected bays and relatively calm conditions typical in calm weather. Divers commonly encounter groupers, scorpionfish, moray eels, nudibranchs, and shoals of training-worthy fish; the area around Posidonia meadows adds to the biodiversity. The site is suitable for both recreational divers and photographers, offering easy entry points and clear water in good conditions.
