Kata Beach South Reef

Kata Beach South Reef is a shallow reef site off Kata Beach, notable for its clear conditions and easy access from the Phuket area. The reef typically sits in shallow to mid-depths with gentle slopes and scattered coral heads, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. Expect a variety of reef-associated species common to the Andaman Sea, including small reef fish, damselfish, clownfish, parrotfish, moray eels, and occasional reef sharks in deeper sections. Visibility is often good in calm seas, and currents are usually mild.
