Jansom Bay

Jansom Bay is a sheltered coastal dive site on Koh Tao known for its shallow, sandy bottom and healthy coral gardens close to the bay shoreline. The site offers straightforward entry from the beach and gentle conditions suitable for entry-level divers, with visibility typically moderate and water temperatures warm year-round. Expect a mix of soft corals, small reef fish, damsels and clownfish among finger corals and scattered bommies. This calm site is often used for beginner-training dives and quick refresher checks, with easy navigation along the sandy spurs and gentle slope. Access is convenient from nearby resorts and the main Koh Tao dive network.
