Għasri

Forna Point

Forna Point is a coastal dive site near the village of Għasri on the northwest coast of Gozo. The site sits in shallow to mid-depth waters and features a sloping seabed with rocky outcrops and patches of seagrass, typical of the Maltese archipelago. Access is straightforward from nearby coast and dive centers, with calm conditions common in good weather. The local underwater topography offers a mix of short sand patches and scattered boulders that attract a range of Mediterranean species, including smaller groper, seabreams, wrasses, and octopus. Visibility can vary with conditions, and current strength is usually light to moderate, making it suitable for recreational divers with basic training. The area is within easy reach of Għasri, Żebbuġ and Marsalforn, making it a convenient add-on for divers exploring Gozo’s northern coast.
