Shaab Chou Chou

Shaab Chou chou is a local reef dive site off Safaga in the northern Red Sea. The site features a shallow, gently sloping reef with clear water and typical coral communities. Divers commonly encounter hard corals, small reef fish, eels, and occasional larger reef species around the edge of the reef drop. Access is straightforward from nearby shore outlets and boats, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. Currents are usually mild, with the best conditions on calm days. The site lies close to Safaga and is part of the broader Ras Abu Soma area, offering predictable visibility and relaxed diving in coastal Egyptian waters.
