Panorama Reef North

Panorama Reef North is a shallow to mid-depth site typical of the Ras Abu Soma/Safaga area. The reef runs parallel to the shore with a gentle drop-off and a variety of coral heads, soft corals and sandy patches in between. Expect clear, warm tropical water with good visibility on calm days. Common reef life in this region includes wrasses, snappers, parrotfish and occasional trumpetfish, along with octopus and small critters around the reef structure. Access is straightforward from local beaches or resorts, with entry from the sand and a short swim to the reef crest. The site is suitable for beginner to intermediate divers and is often used for drift-style dives along the slope when currents permit.
