Leonora’s Reef

Leonora’s Reef is a shallow, calm reef site off the coast near Kralendijk, typically reached in a few minutes from town. The site features a sloping limestone reef with patches of coral and a variety of reef-associated species. Conditions are generally gentle with predictable currents, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. Expect a straightforward swim along the reef edge, with opportunities to see parrotfish, surgeonfish, damselfish, and occasional moray eels or barracuda. The nearby approach from the Bonaire coastline makes access easy for boat trips or shore entries from the town area.
