Te Amo Beach

Te Amo Beach is a shallow, sandy-entry site along Bonaire’s coastline, suited for relaxing dives and entry-level exploration. The site typically features calm conditions with clear Caribbean water and gentle slopes, making wading or short swims straightforward. The underwater terrain is mostly sandy with occasional patches of seagrass and sparse patches of coral nearby. Expect common tropical reef fauna such as small reef fish, damselfish, parrotfish, and occasional sea urchins on the sandy bottom. Because depths here are shallow, this site is popular for quick check dives, beginner training, and surface intervals reached by the beach access. Visibility is often good, and surface conditions can change with wind but are generally comfortable for relaxed dives.
