Rock Pile

Rock Pile is a local shore dive near Kralendijk, Bonaire. The site features a rocky pinnacle and a gently sloping seabed that hosts a mix of hard corals, sponges and macro life. Access is straightforward from the beach with a simple entry and exit, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers depending on current. Typical Bonairean reef fish such as parrotfish, grunts and damselfish frequent the area, along with octopus and occasional moray eels. Because the site is in a protected Caribbean reef system, divers should be mindful of buoyancy and avoid contact with delicate corals. Water is warm year-round and visibility is often good, with conditions influenced by trades winds and currents.
