La Jeaume Garde

La Jeaume Garde is a shallow Mediterranean site near Hyères, typically dived from a boat or shore with easy access. The dive features a sloping rocky seabed and a series of small walls and gullies that host a mix of soft corals and temperate marine life. Expect visibility that is often good in calm conditions. Common Western Mediterranean species may include groupers, shrimps, octopus, moray eels, wrasses, and damselfish, with posidonia meadows nearby in the region. The site is suitable for beginner to intermediate divers and is frequently used for check dives and warming up after weather changes.
