Koh Pu

Koh Pu is a small dive site located near the Phuket coastline, commonly accessed from nearby resort towns such as Karon, Rawai and Chalong. The site typically features shallow to mid-depth reef tops with gentle slopes and patches of sandy bottoms. Visibility can vary with conditions but is often in the range of several meters to around 15 meters. The site is suitable for beginner to intermediate divers, focusing on relaxed coral gardens, small reef fish, and occasional macro life. Entry is straightforward from a protected shoreline or boat anchor, with marine life including damselfish, wrasse, clownfish, and small groupers common in the area. Currents are usually mild, making it appropriate for drift under supervision or a relaxed drift dive along the reef edge. The surrounding Phuket area provides easy access and multiple nearby dive centers for gear rental and guided dives.
