Eagle Ray Alley is a shallow, sandy area off Key Largo known for frequent eagle rays that glide along the bottom. Divers typically enter from a gentle shore or boat drop, then follow open sand patches where rays cruise, sometimes close enough for a respectful, safe photo. The site offers calm conditions in good weather, with visibility commonly ranging from moderate to good. Expect sparse structure and little current, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers practicing drift awareness and buoyancy over open bottom. Nearby reefs and structures can harbour small reef life such as snappers and parrotfish, but the highlight remains the graceful rays patrolling the sand.
