Hole In The Wall

Hole in the Wall is a reef site off Key Largo known for a large hole in the wall feature that creates a dramatic swim-through and vertical relief along a coral-covered wall. The site typically features clear Atlantic waters with moderate to good visibility and a mix of hard and soft corals, sponges, and reef-associated fish. Divers often enter from a sandy bottom and follow a wall that drops to around 20–30 meters in places, with shallower tops suitable for beginners. Currents can vary; planning around local conditions is advised. Common reef species include parrotfish, angelfish, grunts, nudibranchs, spiny lobsters, and sea fans; occasional larger targets like groupers or turtles may appear. The site is accessible from nearby Key Largo and is popular with local dive operations for drift and wall dives.
