Crystal Lagoon

Crystal Lagoon is a shallow coastal site characterized by clear turquoise waters and a sandy bottom typical of a sheltered Maltese lagoon. Access is straightforward from nearby villages, with easy entry and calm conditions suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. The dive typically comprises a shallow, sandy terrace with scattered rocks and occasional seagrass beds, offering gentle exploration rather than dramatic topography. Expect a relaxed typical Mediterranean reef life at the edge of the lagoon, including small fish, wrasse, damselfish, blennies, and occasional sea urchins and coneys along the rocky patches. Currents are usually minimal, making this a comfortable site for training dives or a relaxed recreational dive in good visibility conditions.
