Cominotto Reef on Comino is a shallow to mid-depth site renowned for its clear water and healthy reef framework. The reef runs along a small shelf with gentle descents and occasional swim-throughs, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. Expect a busy but vibrant community of reef fishes, along with juvenile groupers, wrasse, and damsels, plus chances to spot octopus and cuttlefish in crevices. The site is typically calm with mild currents, best dived in calm conditions with good visibility. Access is straightforward from nearby Maltese islands; the reef lies off Comino, a short ride from Qala, Għajnsielem and Mġarr.
