Centara Ras Fushi

Centara Ras Fushi is a tropical island dive site located near the Malé Atoll in the Maldives. Common access is via a short transfer from Malé or Velana International Airport to the resort island, which serves as a base for guests and visiting divers. The site features warm, clear Indian Ocean waters and a gently sloping lagoon/reef profile with healthy coral growth. Expect a mix of small reef fish, colorful parrotfish, fusiliers, monitor lizards on the shore, and occasional larger species patrolling the outer reef. Currents are usually mild to moderate, making it suitable for recurrent recreational divers; some dives may include drift between reef channels. Entry is from shore or via a resort-based boat, with conditions typically calm and visibility often good. The local marine environment around Gulhi Falhu enables straightforward underwater navigation and easy ascent lines for guided dives.
