Bari’s Reef (31) is a shallow to moderate-depth reef site near Kralendijk in Bonaire. The site features a sloping sandy bottom transitioning into coral heads and patch reefs with healthy coral cover. Entry is typically from a calm shore or boat, with easy access for beginners and intermediate divers. Expect a mix of Caribbean reef fauna, including damselfish, parrotfish, angelfish, snapper, small groupers, and occasional rays cruising the flat sand zones. Visibility is generally good year-round, with sea conditions influenced by trade winds. The site is part of Bonaire’s famous offshore reef system and offers straightforward navigation along the reef edge, making it suitable for practicing buoyancy and short-wall dives when conditions permit.
