Banana Rock

Banana Rock is a local reef dive site near Ko Tao, accessible from the bay with a short swim from shore. The dive typically features a shallow to mid-depth rocky reef topography, with scattered coral formations and a variety of small reef fish. Expect gentle currents and clear tropical water typical of the Gulf of Thailand, making it suitable for beginner and intermediate divers. Access is straightforward from Ko Tao, and nearby dive schools often visit Banana Rock as part of a regular reef-dive lineup. As with most Ko Tao sites, marine life includes damselfish, clownfish, wrasse and occasional larger reef inhabitants in the outer sections of the reef.
