Paradise Bay

Paradise Bay is a coastal dive site off the northern coast of Malta, near the villages of Manikata, Mellieħa and Għajnsielem. The site typically features shallow reef flats and a gentle wall or sloping seabed that drops from around 6 to 18 meters, making it suitable for beginner to intermediate divers. Visibility is commonly good in calm conditions, with clear blue water and patchy seagrass meadows nearby. Expect Mediterranean reef species such as wrasse, damselfish, groupers and moray eels, along with octopus and occasional parrotfish. The area lies within easy reach of local dive centers and shore access from Paradise Bay. Entry is typically from the shoreline or a sheltered jetty, with buoyancy control and navigation to stay along the inclined reef. The site is not a deep or technical dive; it’s best enjoyed as a relaxed training or fun dive with a focus on reef topography and wildlife.“ ,
