Kamaole 3

Kamaole 3 is a shallow, reef-dominated site off Maui’s Wailea coast. The area features gentle slopes to around 12–18 meters where coral heads and boulder gardens host a variety of reef fish, parrotfish, surgeonfish, and small nudibranchs. Visibility is typically fair to good in calm conditions. Entry from the beach or a rocky shoreline is straightforward, with a short swim to the reef edge. The site is suitable for beginner to intermediate divers and offers a relaxed drift option along the reef crest when currents allow. Nearby Maui towns provide convenient access for shore or boat dives.
