Museo Atlantico

Museo Atlántico is a protected underwater sculpture park off the coast near Lanzarote, within the municipality of Yaiza. Access is typically via boat from local dive centers. The site features a collection of life-size concrete figures anchored to the seabed, creating a unique marine sculpture garden at depths commonly ranging from around 12 to 28 meters. Visibility on opening days is seasonally variable and currents can occur, so experienced divers or guided trips are advised. The surrounding waters host typical subtropical marine life, including wrasses, damselfish, moray eels, and occasional groupers, with the sculptures providing structure for habitat. Entry can be straightforward with a gentle descent to the seabed, and currents are generally mild but can pick up with weather changes. The site is part of a broader marine reserve area, and divers should follow local regulations and conservation guidelines.
