Ixtapa

Ixtapa is a coastal town in Guerrero on Mexico’s Pacific coast. It’s a popular gateway for visitors to the area with multiple beachside hotels and tour operators. In terms of diving, there are a handful of local centers focused on recreational training and boat trips to nearby reefs and coastal sites along the Guerrero coast. The diving scene here is modest compared with bigger Red Sea or Caribbean hubs, and visibility and conditions can vary with the season.
