Hagåtña

Hagåtña is the main city on Guam and a practical base for scuba diving around the island in the Philippine Sea. Most dives are boat or shore-to-boat outings focused on coral formations, reef fish, and typical Indo-Pacific marine life, with conditions that can vary by season and exposure. Visibility is often best on calm days, while surge can affect entry/exit at exposed sites. With limited diving inventory in the city itself, many divers coordinate with the local dive center for training and for planning day trips to nearby reef areas. Expect a tropical, warm-water environment rather than colder-water “big winter” diving.
