Phang Nga Province

Phang-nga Province in southern Thailand is a coastal region known for its access to the Andaman Sea and limestone karst scenery. Diving within the province centers on the coastal areas around Ban Ko Kwang and Khlong Muang, with easier shore dives and boat trips to nearby reefs and canyons in sheltered conditions. Expect warm tropical waters, moderate visibility, and reef-building corals with a mix of small reef fish and macro life; deeper sites and more pronounced vertical walls are found closer to other Andaman locales. This administrative region is best approached from regional hubs and serves as a convenient base for day trips to nearby dive sites and the famous Phang Nga Bay scenery on non-diving days.
